This week, we were so blessed to receive two encouraging emails, the first was from the Wholeness Through Christ Windsor branch.
Wholeness Through Christ, Windsor branch, sent 26 helpers to Guatemala to teach the principles of Wholeness Through Christ to a school in Pastores through Global Shore Opportunities. We were able to provide medical and dental clinics to the children of the school.
As well, in the afternoon, we taught the principles of Wholeness Through Christ to the staff, students, and teachers. The teaching sessions were held several times with different groups. We had Time with Jesus sessions for many of them. The Lord’s prayer was emphasized, and Jesus was there.
We are thankful for the prayer covering as there was extensive spiritual warfare. No team members were ill and we sensed God’s strength to be able to do His work. Please continue to pray for the school as they begin to process what Jesus has done, and begin to walk out their healing.
The second message was a reminder of the importance of reaching children early.
Many years ago, when we were taking assembly at a primary school once a week, the children asked why we wouldn’t be there the following week, and we said we’d tell them about it when we got back.
It was a Wholeness Through Christ course and we wondered how to put it over to children. It then became obvious to us that it was very important for even young children to understand the 4 areas and how to pray through them, rather than waiting until they were much older and had been suffering for years for lack of this knowledge.
It went down very well with children and staff.
Children are such precious gifts from the Lord. As Matthew 19:14 reminds us, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” And we cling to the promise of Psalm 91:11 “For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;”
Let us keep lifting these little ones in prayer, asking for the continual covering of Jesus’ love and protection over their lives, that they may grow to know Him, love Him, and walk in the wholeness only He can bring.
