Knowing Who I Am: A Day of Healing, Identity, and Restoration

Knowing who I am is important. A clear sense of identity creates personal security, and from that security comes peace and purpose in life. When I am comfortable in who I am, I can focus my energy more clearly and experience true fruitfulness. Identity is not simply about self-understanding; it is about discovering who we are in God and learning to rest in that truth.

This reality was beautifully reflected during the Wholeness Through Christ Coast to Coast “Taste and See Day” held on 21st February 2026, a truly amazing and blessed occasion. The day felt like stepping into an oasis filled with God’s love and presence. While we never quite know what God is going to do, we can be certain of one thing: when His wounded people gather, He is always there.

Throughout the day, each person was encouraged to come before Jesus, the One who heals, and to “expect the unexpected.” God knows each of us intimately and understands our deepest needs far better than we understand ourselves. In His presence, hearts were opened, burdens were lifted, and lives were touched in profound ways.

The Lord moved powerfully among both guests and the ministry team. The atmosphere was filled with encouragement, prayer, and hope. Guests shared overwhelmingly positive feedback, describing experiences of transformation and restoration, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Two testimonies especially captured the heart of the day. One guest shared, “What an awesome day, I’m going out different to when I came in!” Another said, “I came in burdened, now I am leaving as a free person.” These words reflected the deep work God was doing, bringing healing and renewed freedom to those present.

The venue itself contributed to the welcoming atmosphere. It was lovely, homely, and warm, offering a safe and peaceful environment for reflection and ministry. Guests enjoyed a beautiful homemade lunch and generous hospitality provided by the hosts, which added to the sense of care and community experienced throughout the day.

We also give thanks to God for answered prayers concerning various situations shared during the gathering. The day served as a reminder that God is attentive, compassionate, and actively at work in the lives of His people.

The Wholeness Through Christ Coast to Coast “Taste and See Day” was more than an event; it was a journey into identity, healing, and renewed purpose. As people encountered God’s love, many left strengthened, restored, and reassured in who they are, secure in His presence and hopeful for the path ahead.
